i think, this was really greatfull to watch Barack Obama in India. He took the most critical and important topics and also solve all of that. Prime minister Mr. Manmohan Singh, meeted with him and discussed about the all things which can create the future of India.

The most memorable moment:
When Barack & Michelly, had gone to meet the children, than children welcomed them with a lovely indian dance from Mumbai, so at that time, both or gre8 personality of U.S. stood up and dance with the children , it was so nice to see him.

Barack said, "i haven't come here for just make economy better for my country as well as to make more usable and live things between both of countries."

Many Student from Snt. Jeviour college from mumbai, asked many question from Barack, and Barack gave it and solve it out very easily, so all of that just Gud for us and our country and specialy for all world.

Happy children's day......

Childhood is perhaps the best part of anyone's life as during this time we enjoy life to the fullest. Children do not know what sorrow is, they do not know the harsh realities of time and go about being happy in their own merry world. Children's day is a special day that aims to celebrate childhood, the most wonderful stage in the life of a person. Universally children's day is generally celebrated on the 1st of June but not regularly. The International Children's day has its origin at the World Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland for the well being of children. In India 14th November is celebrated as Children's day, this day commemorates the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first prime minister. Pt. Nehru liked children very much and he was often photographed with them and it is perhaps very apt that his birthday is celebrated as children's day.

Pt. Nehru is seen as a special child of India as he was the country's first Prime Minister which it achieved after a long struggle for freedom and independence. On this day all the school organizes different types of fun activities for children. Communities and cultural clubs also organize different activities for children. There are also different types of competitions held on this day and prizes are distributed to the winners. It is that one day in the year when we not only celebrate childhood but also remember one of the most prominent leaders in the history of India. Almost all schools have some or the other events lined up on this day and this is one day that children look forward to. And now due to the huge inroads made by satellite television, you will invariably find channels beaming out different programs to attract the children's attention on this day.

The earlier memories that come to my mind about children's day are the excitement and anticipation that I and my friends used to have. It was a huge occasion for all of us and we really wanted to take part in all the activities and win those prizes as well. In those days all my friends aimed for those prizes on children's day as most of them were tickets to some ride in an amusement park. Now what better than this can be as a gift to a child? I remember taking part in a quiz competition with my friend, and we won the first prize there. The prize was a book on fairy tales and let me tell you this is one of the most treasured possessions in my collection of books.

Children's day is celebrated on different days in different countries across the world. In Japan it is celebrated on the 5th of May and this day is known as Kodomo no hi, in Israel it is celebrated on 9th October, Hong Kong on 4th April. Children all over the world look forward to that day when children's day is celebrated in their country as this is the one day where they can enjoy and celebrate the joy of childhood.

India is a world power: Barack Obama...

NEW DELHI: US President Barack Obama today said India was now a world power and the two countries can work together on issues like counter-terrorism to promote peace, stability and prosperity for the whole world. Obama said he has undertaken the trip to India to strengthen what is already an incredible friendship that would be one of the defining partnerships of the 21st Century, to build on commercial ties and strengthen cooperation in bilateral relations and international economy.

Obama was talking to reporters after a ceremonial reception given to him at the forecourt of the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan formally kick starting his official visit.

"My hope is that during these discussions between myself and Prime Minister, myself and President and other members of the Indian delegation, we will be able to build on the commercial ties that we already have, to strengthen cooperation in bilateral relations and international economy.

He said that the two countries would be able to focus on issues like counter-terrorism in order to ensure that both the US and India are secure well into the future.

"Given that India is not simply an emerging power but now it is a world power, US and India can work together to promote international principles, rules, relations between nations they can promote peace, stability, prosperity not only for just two nations but for the whole world," he said.

Stressing the "core set of values" shared by the worlds two largest democracies, Obama said they needed to work together to curb the spread of terrorism, "in order to ensure that both the United and India are secure well into the future."

During Mondays talks, Indian leaders will be keen to hear Obamas position on their countrys aspirations to win a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.

So far, US officials have sidestepped the question of timing on the issue, saying Indias enhanced status must form part of negotiations to reinvigorate and reform the world body.

A Diwali Message to All Indians (2)

Think about the child above and thousands of other Children involved in child labor in our Fireworks factories. Think of the little boy below making crackers and the face of the girl inhaling the hazardous chemicals as she carelessly stuffs them into your favorite cracker.

PLEASE DON'T BUY AND BURST CRACKERS BECAUSE

* You are helping an industry that unethically and inhumanely employs thousands of children

* Bursting Firecrackers was not part of our old Diwali tradition until they were invented recently

* The pollution (both noise, air and water) that you cause affects a lot of people

* Firecrackers are not safe for you or especially Children. They contain hazardous chemicals

A Diwali Message to All Indians (1)

(Don't mistake seven year old Nurba for playing. She is working. Isn't it so sad.)

Diwali is around the corner. Most of us are getting ready to celebrate it big time with friends and family. But please take a moment to think of the less fortunate among us. Can you do something about them?

Yes you definitely can.

And no we are not talking of giving gifts, clothes and sweets to the poor!
